BUTWAL, Oct 10: Two more individuals have succumbed to COVID-19 at Butwal Corona Hospital.
An elderly, 79, from Butwal-10 who was undergoing treatment at the hospital breathed his last Saturday morning. He had tested positive for the virus on Sept 26 and was on a ventilator for the past 13 days.

According to the focal person of the hospital, Dr Sudarshan Thapa, the elderly was also suffering from Kidney diseases.
Similarly, a 57 years old man from Suddhodan Rural Municipality of Rupandehi also died of COVID-19 at the same hospital on Friday evening. He, who was also suffering from tuberculosis, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Oct 5 and was on a ventilator for the past two days.
