POKHARA, Dec 10: Two people were killed in a truck accident at Bijaypur of Pokhara Metropolitan City-26. According to Kaski Police, the driver and the co-driver were killed in the accident.

According to the police, the truck (La 2 Kha 2948) that was coming to Pokhara from Birgunj carrying iron rods, overturned in the drain at around 4.30 AM today. The deceased have been identified as Bhim Bahadur Tamang, 42, of Parche in Lamjung and a 45-year-old man whose identity is yet to be disclosed.
Both died at the hospital, according to the Kaski police. Their bodies have been kept at the Western Regional Hospital for a post-mortem.
