NEPALGUNJ, Jan 1: Two pedestrians died in a vehicle collision in Nepalgunj of Banke district. In Nepalgunj-18, Karkado, a vehicle (Su-Pa-Pa-01001 Cha 3464) hit three people who were walking on the road at around 12:40 PM. Another person was injured in the accident.
The deceased are 24-year-old Aastha Shah of Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City-13 and a man yet to be identified, according to the District Police Office, Banke.

A local 25-year-old Sahana Shah was injured in the accident. She is being treated at Nepalgunj Medical College.
The driver of the vehicle, Ramraj Jaisi of Kailali, Lamkichuha, has been detained by the police. The police informed that both people died in the course of treatment.
