RUKUM, May 19: Two persons were killed while 14 others sustained serious injuries in a tractor accident last night at Bhume rural municipality in eastern Rukum.
The tractor (Ra 1 Ta 2261) was ferrying manual workers – returning home from their work site at Mid Hill Highway – when its rear portion slipped at Panchase at ward no 1.
40 – year – old Ganesh Bhandari from Bhumre rural municipality – 1 and Chudamani Chaudhary, 40, of Dang of Tulsipur Sub Metropolis died in the fatal accident, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prabin Lal Shrestha of District Police Office, Rukum.
The condition of all 14 injured workers is reported to be critical. They are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Salle. RSS
