KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Police have arrested two men for the alleged gang-rape of a 19-year-old girl in Chandragiri Municipality-1.

A team of police from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, arrested Lokendra Malla, aged 28 and Ratan Bahadur Shahi, aged 23, on the charge of raping the girl. The victim and rape-accused are from Mugu district and have been living in Chandragiri of Kathmandu.
Police apprehended the two men on Thursday evening acting on a tip-off, according to the chief of Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, Ghanshyam Shrestha.
