ACHHAM, Jan 24: Two girls were injured when a bear attacked them at Ramaroshan Rural Municipality -5 in Achham district.
According to District Police Office Chief, Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Pathak, Parbati Shah, 19, and Kiran Shah, 20, were attacked by the wild animal when they were collecting fodder for livestock at the local Salimkot community forest.

According to DSP Pathak, both girls have injuries in several parts of their bodies and deep laceration in the head. Kiran is in an unconscious state while Parbati’s health is moderate.
DSP Pathak said preparations have been made for airlifting the two injured girls and sending them to a hospital in another district for advanced treatment.
