RAJBIRAJ, Dec 25: Two people were killed in an accident occurred when a Scorpio jeep knocked down a motorcycle at Birendra Bazar of Saptari along the East-West Highway today. The deceased have been identified as motorcyclist Rakesh Kumar Yadav, 35, and pillion rider Prabhat Yadav, 35, of Rajgadh rural municipality-6. Deputy Superintendent of Police Tilak Bharati said Rakesh Kumar died on the spot while Prabhat breathed his last in course of treatment at the Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Hospital. The jeep (Sa 1 cha 1381) en route to west from the east hit the motorcycle (Sa 1 Pa 825) coming from the opposite direction.
