ITAHARI, Oct 20: Two children were buried to death in a mudslide triggered by incessant rainfall in Dharan-13, Nageshwor Marga. They were buried to death at around 2PM on Tuesday after a mudslide enveloped a one-story house. The deceased are four-year-old Nihan Rai and eight-year-old Nishu Rai.
Upon receiving the information, the Area Police Office of Dharan had deployed a rescue team. The team recovered the buried bodies at around 3:30PM, said Dharan Police Office.

According to DSP Narendra Karki, the Spokesperson for the District Police Office Sunsari, the other people rescued in the incident were rushed to the Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
