KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The Tribhuvan University (TU) Staff Association Teaching Hospital Unit Committee organized a peaceful protest on the hospital premises. Members of the committee expressed their strong dissent by wearing black armbands.

They protested to voice their serious disagreement regarding the reduction of benefits previously provided to all teachers, staff, and other hospital employees, along with the implementation of a one percent deduction from monthly salaries for depositing into the treatment fund.
