TU's 44th Convocation to be held tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Dec 30:  The Tribhuvan University (TU) is going to hold the 44th convocation for the 56th Grace List tomorrow on the premises of Pulchowk Engineering College in Pulchwok, Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU, Dec 30:  The Tribhuvan University (TU) is going to hold the 44th convocation for the 56th Grace List tomorrow on the premises of Pulchowk Engineering College in Pulchwok, Lalitpur. 



Preparations for the same have been concluded to hold the convocation where the Prime Minister and Chancellor of TU, KP Sharma Oli, Minister for Education, Science and Technology and TU's Pro-Chancellor Giriraj Mani Pokharel will address, according to the Main Organizing Committee's member-secretary, Bishnu Prasad Wagle.

Professor at the School of International Studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Mahendra P Lala, has arrived Nepal to attend the event. 


Out of 74,282 graduates who obtained their transcripts from the TU from June 1-14 this year, about 9,504 graduates will be attending the convocation. 


Last year around 2,000 parents of graduates had attended the event. This year, a total of 6,309 parents have confirmed their attendance to the event, according to TU's Examination Controller Office's Joint Examination Controller, Pashupati Adhikari.
