Birendranagar, Feb 7: A toll-free number has been launched to get information on traffic-related issues throughout Karnali Province. Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office has launched a toll-free number for receiving information from the traffic police from a single number throughout the province.

Traffic toll free number 103 has been activated. From this circulation of numbers, it will be easy for the general public to receive and give traffic-related information, road blockage, traffic jams, alternative route information, etc. The traffic police has also requested everyone to use toll free numbers as per their need.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Prajwal Maharjan, the head of the Karnali Province's Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, said that the toll-free number is a medium of letting the general public receive information about traffic information regarding ongoing incidents and accidents whose access will be direct with traffic. He added that the toll-free number will be available 24 hours free of charge for safe movement and traffic management.
