KATHMANDU, July 15: Police arrested three people with one kg of illegal gold from Ranibari of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

The arrested are Niranjan Basnet, 32, of Nuwakot, currently staying at Nepaltar, Kathmandu, Dhan Bahadur BK, 48, and Raj Kumari BK of Kaski, Chapakot-5
Police said they are investigating the case after taking the trio and the seized gold under control.
