DOLAKHA, SEPT 28: Police have arrested three people in possession of 4 kg of smuggled gold from Singati in Dolakha.
DSP Deepak Khadka, chief of the District Police Office, Dolakha, informed Republica that three people were arrested from Singati last night and 4 kg of smuggled gold was seized from them.

It is suspected that they have smuggled gold through the Tibetan border Lamabagar crossing. One of the crossings towards Lamabagar was opened by the Chinese government only last week.
