Three arrested from outside TIA with 960 grams of gold

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: Three people have been apprehended from outside the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in possession of a combined total of 960 grams of gold.

KATHMANDU, Sept 12: Three people have been apprehended from outside the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in possession of a combined total of 960 grams of gold.



The District Police Range Kathmandu executed the arrests and subsequent seizure of the gold. The illegal gold was discovered among passengers arriving on a Himalayan Air flight from Dubai on Monday. One individual was taken into custody on Monday, with two additional arrests made on Tuesday, according to police sources.

The gold was confiscated from the airport parking area, prompting the initiation of a comprehensive investigation into the people involved in this case.
