DANG, Feb 3: Three people have been arrested on the charge of being involved in an illegal online networking business in Dang. According to the District Police Office, the trio have been duping gullible people in Dang, stating that their money would double through online networking.

The trio was arrested after victims lodged a complaint accusing them of fraud. According to the chief of the District Police Office, Superintendent of Police Suresh Kafle, three people from Rolpa who were residing in Gorahi, were arrested after a complaint was lodged accusing them of swindling the victims out of Rs 17,000.
Although all three are hotel operators, their names have not been disclosed. Preliminary investigations have revealed that they have been doing illegal transactions through online networking, asking people to invest Rs 15,000 to Rs 18,000 per person and claiming that the money will double in two months.
