And it ended on the sad note

Love was there but ego made us remote

Presence was desperate to create the moments

But it broke down into pieces leaving emotions as a grievance

Unlike those tales this was similar

But never thought that despite being near we would be far

Though heart was in despair but we would at least hardly talk

But this time we heard each other's voice but remained like a pond

Though we crossed paths but we ignored

As we didn't want to get badly hurt

It's a pain that would stay for long

And the cries were silent but it was a storm

Though this time the storm was calm

But it was strong enough to leave me with  harm

It gave wounds but pain was not that severe as it used to be

And now I realize that I am used to it
