DANG, Jan 7 : The Ghorahi sub-metropolis has decided to make Tharu language the language of official use to be effective from coming 1st of Magh or January 15.
The decision to make Tharu as the language of official use in the sub-metropolis was made by its executive decision based on the policy and programme passed by the first town assembly. Accordingly, applications received in Tharu language will be entertained while the Mayor Narulal Chaudhary and other people's representatives and staffs from the Tharu community will converse in Tharu language with the Tharu service recipients.
