POKHARA, Dec 31: Ram Gurung, the Ward President of Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-8, reported that a Swedish trekker named Mitchell has been out of contact for 24 hours on the Mardi Himal Trek.
Mitchell was on his way from Mardi High Camp to Mardi Base Camp and has been missing ever since.

Gurung said they had conducted rescue efforts but the trekker was nowhere to be found. He said the trekker is around 22/23 years of age.
