Supplementary budget soon, says Mahara

ROLPA, Oct 17: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Monday said that the government was preparing to bring a supplementary budget soon.

ROLPA, Oct 17: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Monday said that the government was preparing to bring a supplementary budget soon.



DPM Mahara was addressing a press meet organized by Press Center, Rolpa at District Administration Office.

“Supplementary budget is also a strategic plan and it can be unveiled on a political understanding and resources. The government is working to that end as we have resources,” he said.


He further argued that the supplementary budget was necessary also to implement the projects announced by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.


“As per the constitution, the government can unveil the supplementary budget. It is necessary also to fulfill the Prime Minister’s announcements,” he added.
