Students torch govt vehicle in Biratnagar

KATHMANDU, June 9: A group of students set a government-owned vehicle on fire in front of Mahendra Morang Multiple Campus in Biratnagar.

KATHMANDU, June 9: A group of students set a government-owned vehicle on fire in front of Mahendra Morang Multiple Campus in Biratnagar. The incident took place during a visit to the city by Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.



The vehicle, a Scorpio (Ko 1 Jha 644) from the Koshi Province Planning Commission, was targeted, as confirmed by the District Police Office, Morang. This act follows the arrest of six students on Friday for allegedly assaulting security personnel in Rangeli Municipality. The students are demanding the release of those detained.
