KATHMANDU, Jan 6: The All Nepal National Free Students’ Union (ANNFSU), the student wing close to the ruling Nepal Communist Party (Dahal-Nepal faction), staged a lantern demonstration against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon.
As part of its second phase of agitation against the dissolution of the HoR, the ANNFSU took to the streets in the capital. A leader belonging to the Dahal-Nepal faction, Yogesh Bhattarai, joined the protest rally.

Deputy coordinator of the ANNFSU, Ranjit Tamang, said that they are forced to take to the streets against the government's regressive move.
A meeting of the ANNFSU held on Tuesday had decided to launch a week-long protest against the dissolution of the HoR.
