SSP Pokharel entrusted with the responsibility of TIA security

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Krishna Hari Sharma Pokharel has been given the responsibility of security chief of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

KATHMANDU, Feb 10: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Krishna Hari Sharma Pokharel has been given the responsibility of security chief of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).



Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Central Spokesperson of Nepal Police, said that SSP Pokharel was appointed to the post after Deputy Inspector General of Police Arjun Chand was transferred to the Provincial Coordination Department at the Police Headquarters.

According to Spokesperson Dhakal, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Deep Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana working at the TIA was transferred to the National Police Academy on Friday and Pokharel was transferred from the Bagmati Province Police Training Center, Dudhauli, Sindhuli to the TIA Security Office.
