South Korea to provide medical supplies worth Rs 23.2 million to Nepal

KATHMANDU, May 26: South Korea has pledged to immediately provide medical supplies worth Rs 23.29 million (USD 200,000) to the Government of Nepal.

KATHMANDU, May 26: South Korea has pledged to immediately provide medical supplies worth Rs 23.29 million (USD 200,000) to the Government of Nepal. 



The assistance will be sent to Nepal in coordination with the Embassy of Nepal in Seoul. The Korean Embassy in Nepal is also coordinating with the Government of Nepal on the amount and options of other large and long-term assistance to fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) South Korea chapter in a press statement on Tuesday informed that it had requested the South Korean government to extend necessary support as Nepal continues to be affected by the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. 


The statement further mentioned that the medical supplies are to be made available under NRNA South Korea chapter’s National Coordination Council.
