“With this, we can now carry out remaining construction with ease,” Log Bahadur Shahi, the rural municipality’s chief said.

Until now, the road was being constructed on pure human labor: 1,500 workers working in 70 groups. A total of Rs 380 million has been spent to construct the road, according to chief of the program for RAP, Mohan Ruwali.

He added that the remaining road section would conclude in another two months. “First, we’ll have to break the 500 meter long cliff near Kachhe village,” Ruwali said.
