KATHMANDU, Nov 12: At least six people lost their lives in a jeep accident in Devchuli Municipality of Nawalparasi East district on Sunday.

According to Bed Bahadur Paudel, chief of Nawalparasi East District Police Office, those six individuals died on the spot. Among the deceased are three men and three women and their identity is yet to be ascertained. One passenger sustained serious injuries in the accident and was promptly transported to the district hospital.
Police said the jeep en route to Daldale Bazar from Majhdanda of Baudikali Rural Municipality lost control due to brake failure, colliding with a roadside building.
