KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Dr Min Bahadur Shrestha has been appointed the Vice-Chairperson of National Planning Commission (NPC). A cabinet meeting held on Monday appointed Dr Shrestha to the post.

NPC Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal administered oath of office and secrecy to the newly- appointed Vice Chairman on Monday at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar, according to Prime Minister’s Press Expert Manohari Timilsina. This is the second term of Shrestha as the Vice Chairman of the NPC.
