KATHMANDU, Dec 23: Shankhamul Futsal and Samakhusi Futsal are set to vie in the summit clash of the ongoing Red Bull National Futsal League. Despite losing the second leg of semifinal to Tahachal Futsal 7-2 on Friday, Sankhamul progressed to the final by aggregate of 11-8. Shankhamul had defeated Tahachal 9-1 in the first leg played on Tuesday.
Sunil Basnet scored a hat-trick for Tahachal while Sujit Budhathoki netted twice. Similarly, Bishal Gurung and Anil Tamang notched one goal each for winning side. Sher Bahadur Thapa Magar and Biplav Dhwaj Shah scored one goal for the finalist. Tahachal's goalkeeper Bishal Gurung was declared the man-of-the-match.
The final between Shankhamul and Samakhusi is scheduled for January 7.
