During a market inspection carried out by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) on Sunday, many groceries were found to be selling date-expired products while a number of others were found to be doing business without having operating licenses. Similarly, a large number of outlets have not cleared government taxes and are selling their products without issuing bills.

According to the KMC office, it took action against Majin store, Sawaria Wholesale Mart, Jay Bageshwori Store and Jay Bhole Traders operating in Chabahil, Kathmandu, for the misconduct.
