KATHMANDU, Nov 17: Journalists here today paid emotional tribute to the late journalist Sanjay Neupane at a program organized by the Society of Economic Journalists, Nepal (SEJON-Nepal).
Journalists gathered to offer tribute to Neupane shed light on his important contribution to the advancement of business journalism. On the occasion, Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) President Dr Mahendra Bista recalled journalist Neupane as a dedicated and outstanding journalist of the entire country.
SEJON President Gokarna Awasthi highlighted Neupane's role in uplifting the country's economic journalism.
Senior journalist and SEJON founding president Prateek Pradhan said Nepali media will always remember journalist Neupane who had a broader knowledge on business journalism.
Journalist Neupane, a resident of Badikhel of Godawari Municipality-8, died from anaplastic astrocytoma on November 4 at the age of 45. He was the vice president of SEJON. He is survived by his spouse, a daughter and a son. RSS
