CDO Singh said a Nepal Army (NA) Disaster Management battalion team has also been mobilized to help in the rescue effort. The NA personnel along with Armed Police Force and Nepal Police have been continuing their search at the site of the incident.

The Armed Police Disaster Management Training Centre team has also been helping in the search for the missing former Home Minister and his family members. The search is continuing despite the murky river condition and high current.

The former Home Minister along with his brothers Prakash and Mohan Ghimire are still unaccounted for while the dead bodies of their mother, Chaitanya Kumar Ghimire, 80, security guard Armed Police Sub Inspector, Ram Chandra Karki, and nephew, Narayan Kafle, have been recovered.
