Schools in Baglung closed over Omicron concern

GALKOT, Jan 12: Schools in Baglung Municipality have been directed to close from January 12 till January 28 due to fears over the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19.

GALKOT, Jan 12: Schools in Baglung Municipality have been directed to close from January 12 till January 28 due to fears over the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19. 



Issuing a notice on Tuesday, Education Officer Dhan Prasad Pokhrel of the municipality urged all community and institutional schools to stop conducting classes till January 28, citing the risk of another wave of COVID-19.

Pokhrel also urged the schools to conduct the pre-scheduled examinations by following the required health safety measures.
