KATHMANDU, Dec 26: The meeting of the parties that supported Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), to become the Prime Minister is being held today.

A meeting between seven parties including Maoist Center and three independent parliamentarians will be held in New Baneshwor at 11am. It has been said that the meeting is going to be held to forge a power-sharing deal before Prime Minister Dahal takes oath of office and secrecy at 4pm.


Maoist Chairman Dahal was appointed Prime Minister for the third time on Sunday with the support of 169 MPs including those belonging to CPN-UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party, Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajwadi Party, Janmaat Party and Nagarik Unmukti Party.
