Ruling coalition directs partners to go in election with the spirit of unity

KATHMANDU, May 1: A meeting of the ruling coalition has decided to direct the subordinate bodies of the respective coalition partners to perform as per the understanding reached among the coalition parties in the context of the upcoming local level election.

KATHMANDU, May 1: A meeting of the ruling coalition has decided to direct the subordinate bodies of the respective coalition partners to perform as per the understanding reached among the coalition parties in the context of the upcoming local level election.



The meeting today of the coalition mechanism for making internal preparation and monitoring of the local level election has decided to take action against the candidates who filed rebel candidacies against the common candidate nominated by the coalition.

Likewise, the meeting decided that the parties in the ruling coalition would direct their respective bodies to carry out works as per the understanding reached in the coalition and have that done in places where the rebel candidacies have not been withdrawn and where the time for doing so was not sufficient. 


Moreover, the meeting decided that the coalition would actively fulfill the responsibilities during the election by maintaining mutual unity as per the coalition spirit and sentiment. The parties in the coalition would take action against their respective units that flout this decision.
