The statement reads, "Our serious attention has been drawn towards the questions regarding Rai's relation with RSP. We had invited Rai as a guest speaker in a gathering organized at Khula Manch on August 27, 2022. Rai, who was not even a General Member of the RSP, was invited as the agriculture expert.  We want to inform you that RSP has no connection and relation with Rai after that programme."

The RSP also demanded legal action against Rai.
