Rs 500 to each girl student from community schools: Province 2 CM Raut

PARSA, Jan 16: Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut has said that the provincial government will provide Rs 500 as motivational allowance to each girl student from the community school in the province.

PARSA, Jan 16: Chief Minister of Province 2 Lal Babu Raut has said that the provincial government will provide Rs 500 as motivational allowance to each girl student from the community school in the province.



While inaugurating the Daughter Education Insurance Week Campaign at the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers here on Thursday, he shared that the girl students from Grade 1 to 8 will receive the allowance from the upcoming fiscal year.

He further said that they are planning to reach Rs 2 million insurance amount from existing Rs 10,000. The provincial government is starting the implementation of the ‘Beti Bachau-Beti Padhau’ campaign (Save daughter, educate daughter) —an insurance scheme to encourage girl education launched last year.


The insurance scheme is expected to reduce the dropout of girl students.
