Rs 5.02b allocated for displacing improvised cable crossings

KATHMANDU: Aiming at displacing tuins (improvised cable crossings) from the country, the government has allocated a total of Rs 5.02 billion for the construction of suspension bridges across the country.

Unveiling the federal budget for the Fiscal year 2020/2021, Finance Minister Yuba Raj Khatiwada said that the government has allocated Rs 5.02 for the construction of at least 2,200 suspension bridges across the country.
