NEPALGUNJ, July 1: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) mayoral Dhawal Shamsher Rana candidate continues to take the lead pushing his rivals backwards by a significant margin in Nepalgunj Sub-metropolitan City.

He is ahead of his nearest rival Maoist Center mayoral candidate Damodar Acharya by 1420.
Rana has garnered 3070 votes while Acharya has obtained 1670 votes. Nepali Congress mayoral candidate Suresh Kumar Kanodiya who is in the third position has got 1650 votes. Likewise, UML mayoral Sam Suddin Siddiki has secured 1442 votes.
