KATHMANDU, Oct 23: Nepal Bhasa Singer Roji Dongol released her solo musical album ‘Yachhugu Sarga’ amid a function in Kathmandu.

According to a press statement, the album was released by Defense Minister Bhimsen Das Pradhan, singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan, music director Jag Mohan Bami. At the event, Pradhan praised the contribution of the ‘Jyapu community’ in the development of Nepali culture and art. He also urged to preserve Newari culture. Dangol also released a music video at the event and performed live to entertain the audience. Meanwhile, Pradhan honored the guests, who had contributed in making the album, with tokens of love.
Singer Roji gave a solo performance while singer Sanubabu Maharjan and comedian Madan Krishna Shrestha performed a duet song at the release event. In the album, lyricist Purnakaji Jyapu has penned the songs whereas musician Jugal Dangol has composed the music.
