GORKHA, July 20: Landslides triggered by incessant downpour since Sunday have swept away several houses and disrupted roadways in Gorkha district on Monday.
A landslide in Gorkha Municipality-13 disrupted the Abukhaireni-Gorkha road and vehicular movement has been halted since then.

Similarly, one house in Ajirkot Rural Municipality and two in Barpak Suilkot Rural Municipality were also swept away by landslides.
According to Ward Chairperson Bhim Bahadur Gurung, the families whose houses were swept away have sought shelter at public buildings.
So far, no human casualties have been reported.
