KATHMANDU, Sept 6: A rhino poacher convicted of poaching and smuggling rhino parts has been arrested.
Natthu Rana, 45, of Beldani Municipality-9 of Kanchanpur and currently residing at Beldani-12 has been arrested from his house on Monday.
On the charge of poaching and smuggling rhino parts the Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve has sentenced Rana to 10 years in jail and imposed a fine of Rs 50,000. But, he was on the run.
A team of Central Investigation Bureau, Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve along with Regional Investigation Team jointly arrested and sent him to the reserve office, Majhgaun, Kanchanpur for further action.
