BUTWAL, Aug 4: Chief Revenue Investigation Officer of Inland Revenue Office, Butwal, Bijay Rana was held by a team of Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) while taking bribe money from a trader today.

Chief of CIAA Office in Butwal, Bhishma Raj Bhusal, said that Rana was nabbed on charge of receiving Rs 200,000 in bribe from a Kapilvastu-based betel nuts trader Anil Kumar Jha at Buddhachowk in Butwal-13.
It is said that Chief Revenue Investigation Officer Rana was arrested at 10:30 this morning based on a tip off.
