KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Maoist's Rekha Sharma of CPN (Maoist Center), a candidate from the ruling alliance, has won the seat of Dang-2 as a member of the House of Representatives (HoR).

She defeated CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel by a margin of 197 votes.
Sharma won by getting 26,877 votes while UML General Secretary Pokharel got 26,680 votes.
