KATHMANDU, May 22: The first meeting of the Business Operation Regulations, 2075 Amendment Committee took place during a joint session of the federal parliament at the parliament building in New Baneshwar on Monday.
The first meeting of the amendment committee was held in the presence of Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire and National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
Addressing the meeting, Speaker Ghimire believed that the Committee will carry out its works expeditiously recognizing the fact that the amendment to the regulations has to be carried out at the earliest.

National Assembly Chairman Timilsina urged the committee to endorse the regulations unanimously and in such a way that it would not have to be amended for a long time.
A meeting of the National Assembly some days back approved a proposal on the formation of the committee. The House of Representatives had endorsed the proposal.
