KATHMANDU, July 5: The death toll in the bus accident that took place in Ramechhap on Tuesday morning has risen to nine. A passenger bus coming to Kathmandu from Ramechhap met with an accident this morning. As many as 24 24 persons who were injured in the accident have been sent to various hospitals for treatment.
The bus (Ba 3 Kha 8396) coming to Kathmandu from Hiledevi of Ramechhap met with an accident at Lubhughat this morning. Five men and four women died on the spot in the accident, according to Gita Bista Chaulagain, vice-chairperson of Sunapati Rural Municipality.

Chaulagain said that 21 injured people have been rushed to Dhulikhel Hospital in Kavre and the three seriously injured were sent to Kathmandu by a helicopter.
