KATHMANDU, Dec 10: Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel has reached the venue of NC’s 14th National General Convention in the capital.

Earlier, Poudel had denied attending the convention due to differences in views regarding the new leadership within the party. According to sources, some NC leaders had reached his residence to convince him to attend the program.


Similarly, top leaders of other political parties including CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Upendra Yadav, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur, Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chairman Rajendra Lingden and Rastriya Janamorcha leader Durga Poudel also reached the venue on the occasion.
