Rainfall likely for the next three days

KATHMANDU, March 17:  Light to moderate rains are occurring in some parts of the country due to the general influence of western winds along with local winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).

KATHMANDU, March 17:  Light to moderate rains are occurring in some parts of the country due to the general influence of western winds along with local winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).



According to Meteorologist Pratibha Manandhar of the Weather Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in most parts of the country for the next three days. Light to moderate rainfall is taking place in most parts of the country including Kathmandu. The rainfall is taking place in most parts of the western and far western regions of the country.

According to the weather report issued by the DHM, there is a possibility of temporary and light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and wind in some places in the hilly areas and few places in the plains.
