Pushpa Kamal Dahal could become the PM of Nepal today, thanks to King Prithvi Narayan Shah who built the nation: Lingden

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Rajendra Lingden, chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has said that Prithvi Narayan Shah was the founder of Nepal.

KATHMANDU, Jan 10: Rajendra Lingden, chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has said that Prithvi Narayan Shah was the founder of Nepal.



On Tuesday, speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives, he said that Pushpa Kamal Dahal could become the Prime Minister of Nepal today because Prithvi Narayan Shah  built the nation called Nepal.

He said, “Nepal today exists as a nation because of the late King Shah. Today, Pushpa Kamal Dahal is the Prime Minister of Nepal which was built by the late King Shah.”


Lingden also thanked the government for announcing a public holiday on Paush 27, the birthday of the late King, as Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day. He said that Prithvi Jayanti and National Unity Day are not just for a political party but for the whole country.
