SURKHET, June 27: The Karnali Province government has announced a public holiday in all districts of the province except Jumla on June 29 on the National Paddy Day.
Paddy plantation in Jumla starts in the Nepali month of Chaitra. As a result, the province government announced a public holiday in Jumla on March 25 on the same occasion.

The Province Cabinet meeting on May 25 announced a public holiday in all districts of the province except Jumla on June 29, said Tul Khadka, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law.
