UDAYAPUR, Nov 6: Police on Tuesday said that two elected representatives from Udayapur — Provincial Assembly Member Sanja Danuwar and Devi Kumari Chaudhary, Deputy Mayor of Triyuga Municipality — who were injured in a road accident, are safe.
Both were injured in a road accident while returning to Udayapur from Biratnagar after attending a domestic violence-related program.

The car used by Chaudhary and Danuwar met with an accident at Choudandi Gadhi of Udayapur.
Both Chaudhary and Danuwar were taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, for treatment.
Police have arrested the car driver Yogendra Chaudhary.
