BIRATNAGAR, Dec 26: Amid formal split of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) at the center, Chief Minister of Province 1, Sherdhan Rai has sacked one of his Cabinet colleagues.
CM Rai sacked Provincial Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Indra Aangbo after the latter allegedly led a campaign to register a vote of no-confidence motion against him. Aangbo is considered close to Dahal-Nepal faction of the NCP.

According to the Chief Minister’s Office, Minister Aangbo was relieved from his post as per the Article 169 (2b) of the Constitution of Nepal.
